How she really feels...

Today after dropping my daughter off a cheer practice I came home and opened up my laptop to check and delete some old emails, before starting dinner, and I noticed that my daughter had left her homework assignment open (an essay). After reading it I had to share it here because it is all about me :) My angst filled and constantly complaining teenage daughter wrote a glowing essay about me. Yes she exaggerated a little but it gives me hope that all that I do for my family is not going unnoticed I like I often feels it is. It is so sweet and even though she would probable die if you found out, I had to share it with everyone...

My Mom and Her Well Balanced Lifestyle
by Crystal C.
In My Opinion, my mother has a well balanced lifestyle. Through her busy schedule she prioritizes and doesn’t procrastinate or make excuses. She gets so many things done. To me, she is perfectly balances.
My mom has many jobs. She is a mother first and takes care of my brothers and I. My mother is a wife as well, and at times she has to take care of my stepfather. She also keeps the house spotless, while going to school part time. My mom is a busy person but she keeps it together.
My mom gets the job done by prioritizing. She knows what needs to be done and when. My mom does all of this with the schedule. She lists what needs to be done in order of importance. Using her schedule, getting through a busy day is a breeze.
Many people find it hard to get things done, because of problems with procrastinating. My mom has never been one to procrastinate. She gets things done with no excuses. She feels excuses are unnecessary. Life is easier for her without procrastination or excuses.
In conclusion, I have always believed that my mother has a perfectly balanced lifestyle. She is a very busy person with taking care of family, keeping the house clean and going to school. Yet, she makes it look so easy because she finds a way to get everything done with perfect timing. My mom is the one who held my family together. I aspire to live a life as well balanced as hers.

I love my daughter
(even though she probably wasn't going to show me this essay)
